Discover Scuba Diving Course Details
If you’re looking for a convenient way to try scuba, look to a
Discover Scuba Diving experience to broaden your horizons.

Prerequisites
- Be at least 10 years of age or older
- Be in reasonable health
- Comfortable in the water
- Have snorkeling equipment (can be rented or purchased at Wet N Rugged Sports)
Course Overview
You can jump into this program near home in a pool, or on vacation near
open water. After a safety briefing you will learn the basics of scuba
equipment and skills then, be underwater, weightless and breathing
comfortably in under an hour.
- World’s most popular introduction to scuba diving
- Available in a pool, ocean, river, lake, quarry or almost anywhere there’s water and weather is appropriate.
- Discover Scuba Diving skills may be credited toward the Open Water Diver certification
- Average dive depth is 6 meters/20 feet (12 meters/40 feet is the maximum depth)
- Most Discover Scuba Diving experiences take just an hour or two
