Discovering Snorkeling
Snorkeling Course
Want to get more out of your snorkeling experience on your next travel adventure? The
Snorkeling course is an easy way for you to get some time with a certified Instructor
or Divemaster and learn the proper techniques of snorkeling. This program
is held at Wet N Rugged Sports and is a private or group session where you get
the undivided attention of the person running the course. This is a customized
course that is scheduled around your needs so there is no formal schedule, you
simply choose a time when you sign up for the course.
Course Goals
During the Snorkeling course you will:
- Learn more about snorkeling equipment
- How to prepare your equipment for use
- Proper entry and exit techniques
- Buddy procedures for snorkeling
- Proper breath control and techniques for snorkeling

Course Prerequisites
To qualify for the Snorkeling Course, you must:
- Be 8 years of age or older.
Course Costs
The Snorkeling course is $50 per person and is limited to eight people but there is no minimum requirement. Optional manual for this course cost $39.99. Some advanced notice is required, for pool sessions to be scheduled. If you need to rent equipment for the class Wet N Rugged Sports offers top of the line rental gear.
