SCUBA Refresher
Scuba Refresher Class
Has it been a while since you have been diving? Are there "little
things" that you want to "work out" before your next dive? If
the answer is "YES" then the Scuba Refresher class is for you.
The Scuba Refresher Class is an easy way for you to get some time with
a certified Instructor or Divemaster and go through the basic skills
you learned in your Open Water Diver Course. This program is held at Wet N Rugged Sports and
is a semi-private session where you get the undivided attention of the person
running the course. The course is customized around your needs so there
is no formal schedule, you simply choose a time when you sign up for the course.
There is a textbook that helps your remember all of the book work, and a pool
session to work out the kinks after a period of diving inactivity.
Course Goals
During the Scuba Refresher class you will:
- Refresh your knowledge about the diving environment and equipment
- Understand the dive tables and how to plan dives
- Refresh your diving skills through demonstration and practice
Course Prerequisites
To qualify for the Scuba Refresher class, you must:
- Have completed the Pool and Classroom portions of the PADI Open Water Diver Course or the pool and classroom portions of an open water diver course from another training organization.
- Be 10 years of age or older.
Course Costs
The Scuba Refresher Class is $45 per person plus $20 for scuba equipment rental (if needed), and is limited to four people but there is no minimum requirement. The optional material for this course costs $19.99. Some advanced notice is required, for pool session scheduling. This fee includes a sticker for your certification card or logbook page showing that you have completed this refresher.
