Professional Courses - PADI
IDC Staff Instructor
PADI IDC Staff Instructors are PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers who have successfully completed an IDC Staff Instructor course. During their training, IDC Staff Instructors overview the entire PADI Instructor Development program and learn to act as assistants during instructor-level training courses. IDC Staff Instructors work with PADI Course Directors to develop instructor candidates ’ teaching abilities as well as shape their attitudes as dive professionals. IDC Staff Instructors are also authorized to independently conduct PADI Assistant Instructor courses.
Prerequisites
To enroll in a PADI IDC Staff Instructor course, you must:
- Be a renewed, Teaching status PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
- Agree to conduct all PADI certification courses and experience programs using methods consistent with PADI Standards and philosophy as outlined in the PADI Instructor Manual.
- Agree to use the PADI System and components in its entirety.
Course Costs
The PADI IDC Staff Instructor course offered at Wet N Rugged Sports includes:
- 55+ hours of classroom lecture, Open water training and practical application experience.
- Pool experience and practice including tanks and weights.
- Practical, Hands on teaching experience with PADI Instructor Candidates
- PADI Course Director Manual (paper version).
